Supplier Innovation 2020 - Latam

Philips Procurement departments for Indirect Materials and Services (IMS) and Services & Solutions (S&S) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our first Supplier Innovation Event in November 2020. This event will be hosted virtually due the pandemic situation. However, this will not be an obstacle to drive our focus in solving real, current business “challenges” with breakthrough results.

You have been formally invited as a result of Procurement & business stakeholder’s collaboration to identify specific business challenges. On this Portal, you can find these challenges, taking into consideration a regional Latin-American scope. Each challenge will be applicable for either a specific country, group of countries or the whole region this will be specified in the challenge description.
This is the perfect stage to create real business opportunities as a supplier. Additionally, it is a great opportunity for you to show Philips that you can bring additional value to the partnership and likely beyond the obvious. You make your innovation visible to a wide range of Philips business categories and professionals, thus increasing your chances of innovating with Philips.

From the submitted innovations, Procurement and business stakeholders will select the best innovations, based on the potential value the solution can bring to Philips. However, only the top suppliers are invited to the final Supplier Innovation Event virtually on November 26th and 27th . During this event, the selected suppliers will get an opportunity to pitch their innovation to Philips. After the pitch, the supplier will be informed whether Philips commits to further engage based on the supplier’s presented innovation.
Make sure to look at the challenges posted on this Portal and to respond to one or multiple challenges. We are looking forward to receive many high quality submissions.

Timelines:
October 8th - Challenges made available on SPICE portal and suppliers can start to register in SPICE to get access to the challenges.
November 6th - Deadline for submitting solutions to the challenges by suppliers
November 16th – 17th - Philips to select top submissions for selection event and communicate to suppliers
November 26th – 27th – Philips Virtual Supplier Innovation live event
